Apple Festival

This festival held the third week of September. Thousands of visitors come to La Crescent to watch the parade, eat apple pie and have fun. Watch for the La Crescent Apple Festival float at dozens of community festival parades each summer across Minnesota and Wisconsin. Apple Festival representatives also appear at the St. Paul Winter Carnival and Winnipeg, Canada.

Christmas in La Crescent

Taking place the first weekend in December, Christmas in La Crescent is an event sponsored by the La Crescent Chamber of Commerce. Retailers offer products and services to help you with your Christmas plans. Bring the kids downtown to Santa Claus. The high school choir sings carols around town and the city lights their Christmas trees for the season.
