Harris Park has a play area and open field. Kistler Park features the city's swimming pool, two sand volleyball courts, three tennis courts, and a skating rink. Valley South Park has a play area, an open field and in the winter you will find the local children sledding down a hill. Veteran's Park has three picnic shelters, a playground, rest rooms, and a soccer and softball field.
Great River Bluffs State Park
Nature lovers should be sure to check out this beautiful but little known park. This quaint, secluded park may be hard to find but worth checking out. From La Crescent, Take Highway 61 north to Interstate 90 West. Take the Nodine exit 266 and turn right on to Cty Hwy # 3. Drive one mile and turn right onto park entrance road.
