Mosquito Fest
Held the first weekend of February in Hastings, This festival makes fun of winter. This event is sponsored by the Downtown Business Association and includes a mosquito medallion hunt, a chili cook-off, ice-fishing and an art contest for the children.
Front Porch Festival
Each May, Hastings hosts the Front Porch Festival, which celebrates the town's civic pride and showcases the many beautiful porches on it's Victorian homes.
Apple Blossom SpecialThis event is held in Mid-May at the Carpenter Nature Center, near Hastings. Running races are held on the nature Center's paved and wood-chip trip trails and adjacent roads. The 5K run is nationally registered and is open to all runners and wheelers. Call 651-437-1413 for more information.
Rivertown DaysThis citywide festival is held the third full weekend in July and is sponsored by the Hastings Area Chamber of Commerce. Here you will find tournaments, a music festival, an arts and crafts show, a parade, a flower show, a medallion hunt, and an ice cream social.
Little Log House and Antique Power ShowThis event is held the forth weekend in July at the historic Little Log House, which is about 10 miles south of Hastings on Hwy 61. This show features entertainment, demonstrations, early tractor exhibits and threshing. You will also find replicas of the Spiral Bride and St. Boniface Church. Mainstreet FestivalThe Hastings Downtown Business Association sponsors this event which is held on the third Saturday in September. Here you will find an arts and craft show, art contests, various entertainment and a mother Goose parade.
