Sunfish Days

This event is held annually over Memorial Day Weekend at the OmniCenter at the north end of town in Van Riper Park. During this time there are run/walk events, volley and golf, swimming and softball tournaments as well as a fishing derby, clowns, and a petting zoo for the little ones. There is also a parade, a carnival, food stands and musical entertainment for everyone in attendance.

Oktoberfest

An annual harvest celebration steeped in German tradition. Authentic German food, music, arts and crafts, parades, carnival rides and a 100 mile bike race are just some of the activities. Call 608-784-FEST for more information. 

Riverfest

This event is held annually over the Fourth of July Weekend at Riverside Park. Riverfest is a family festival offering continuous entertainment, children's activities, great food, and fireworks. Come and join in the fun during this five day celebration. Call 608-782-6000 for more information. 

Log Boom and Prairie La Crosse Rendezvous

Visitors can steep back into the city's lumberjack era and watch log rolling tournaments in Pettibone Park. This annual event is held every August. 

New Year's Eve

Skyrockers New Year's Eve Fireworks Display, Granddad  Bluff, La Crosse. This is put on by a local fireworks club.
