Granddad Bluff

At 600 feet above the river, this park offers a excellent view of the city, the river valley and the countryside of Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa.

Riverside Park

At Riverside Park you can take a river excursion on the "La Crosse Queen" or the "Island Girl Cruiseliner" or you can board the authentic steam-driven paddlewheel "Julia Belle Swain", La Crosse's newest river attraction. Riverside park is also the site of La Crosse's Riverfest and other celebrations.

Pettibone Park

The park features include public beaches, shelters, playground equipment and park lagoon for ice skating and model boat racing. On the far side of the park lies a historic stone gazebo, which is fifty feet in diameter. This is a popular place to host weddings, in fact, he owners of this website were married here on October 7th, 2000. Pettibone Park is located on Barron Island across the Cass Street bridge going towards La Crescent, MN.
