Looking toward Iowa from Wyalusing State Park.

Wyalusing State Park

Wyalusing State Park has some of the most spectacular lookouts in the area. Here you can marvel at the spectacular views of where the great Wisconsin and the mighty Mississippi River join. Camp 500 feet above the confluence of these beautiful rivers in one of Wisconsin's old parks.
WISCONSIN TRAILS magazine readers voted this "Wisconsin's best scenic view". You will find picnic areas, shelters, hiking trails, campgrounds and mountain bike trails.
This park is open year round with cross country ski trails for the hearty, canoe trails through the backwaters of the Mississippi for the adventurous, and historic Indian mounds for the history buffs. Come and enjoy the great outdoors and watch the birds and abundant wildlife of the park, and explore the caves, canyons and rock formations. Also located in the park, is marker recognizing the spot where Marquette and Joliet entered the Mississippi River on June 17, 1673.
