Nelson Dewey State Park

Come see the panoramic view of the Mississippi River from a campsite atop the river bluffs. This park, which commemorates the home of Wisconsin's first governor, has wooden campsites, showers, picnic areas, a playground and, three miles of hiking trails, and facilities for handicapped Bald eagle watching is a popular attraction in the park. The park is located one mile north offers spectacular views of the Mississippi River and is open all year long.

Riverside Park

This well developed park has two boat ramps, picnic facilities, children's playground areas and is the departure point for the Cassville Car Ferry. Riverside park also offers three shelter houses with electricity and barbecue grills, rest rooms, 12 free boat slips on main channel, and newly built Wildlife Observation Deck. This park is on an effigy mound in the shape of a bald eagle, placed there Native Americans. In the 1800's, you could find large steam-powered paddlewheel boats tied up along the park.
