Dickeyville Grotto

The Grotto was built from 1925-1930 by Father Mathias Wernerus and was intended to be a shrine honoring his God and country. This folk art treasure was created using glass, colored stones and rocks, shells, gems, marble and petrified wood gathered from throughout the world and also features beautiful floral gardens. Located on the grounds of the Holy Ghost Church.
